Love the paint combo/vinyl top, love the car. And good luck doing a restoration to that degree for less than $150k (I know, that is standard for pretty much all muscle cars today). If it performs and drives as well as it presents...great car.

The PUI interiors just kill these high dollar cars. Appears to be somewhat of an amateur restoration though presents fairly well.

When I see a high dollar car like this I pick on the little things.
  • No VIN sticker on the drivers door.
  • Painted door light switches
  • Flowmasters
  • Hard to tell but it might be missing the rear lower control arm frame braces.
  • Tail pipe trumpets installed to deep.

Well it’s damn nice for an “ amateur” .. you can pick apart any restoration if you look hard enough. Beautiful w30.

Curious how can you discern that it has a pui interior? Seems like a useful thing to know.

I like the aspen green, very handsome car.

The pleats and grain differ on the PUI covers versus originals or Legendary.

X2... When I see a premium price on a restored car I want to see premium parts used. At the same time, Who can afford the premium parts these days, lol. My W-30 is looking more and more like it will remain a driver and never be restored, lol.

Thanks everyone, I’ll keep an eye out for legendary covers and see if I can spot the differences. Just curious really.

These are 71 not 70, but show the difference.
These first pics are PUI covers front and rear:

These pics are Legendary:

You can see the stiched seams in the PUI covers are not as deep and the grain on the front seats was not well defined. I Generally use PUI due to price, but I used the Legandary covers on the white car because during Covid, Classic Industries had a set is stock.

Majority of pics not downloadable, so quality compromised here, luckily BAT numbers photo album pics. Upper left corner.

Sorry, forgot the partial broadcast card. That was supposed to be the first upload (had a little nip last night).
