First and only Supreme I've seen with a six and dogbowls. I think they were more common in New England and the Upper Midwest. Dealers here simply wouldn't order cars like that.

We were rooting around a now- closed junkyard in Reidsville NC about 30 years ago and found a 6-cylinder 3-speed 75 S coupe in there. Even had rubber floor covering. That was the most basic Oldsmobile I ever saw. Dealer badge was from somewhere near Pittsburgh PA.

That might be the last Oldsmobile I would pick.

As Joe P has said on here many times, rare does not necessarily mean valuable. With the rust on this car, I think he would do good to get $1,500.

Nope, it was the I6. While the Buick V6 was available in the H-body Starfire for 1975, it didn't make it into the A-body line until the 1977 model year. The Chevy six and three-on-the-tree were base equipment even in the Supreme for the 1975 model year. Thank OPEC for that.

Up for sale is an all original, one owner surviver. My great aunt bought this car new in 1975. Has been parked for about 3 years, oil has leaked out from pan seal. It has an inline 6 cylinder engine. Right now I’m asking $4000.00 or best offer. Next week I’m gonna put some oil in her throw a battery in and get her started. Then the price might go up. Title in hand and ready for a quick sale.

Damn that is one fugly car. Sat three years? I call ten easy. Poor car. That's a 500 dollar car all day. Probably a nice car new. Today's world? Good luck. Down in Alabama she was pretty hammer...

Someone loved that car new. It was a cool car new. Imagine a six pulling that car around. Pretty clean car but...

There is NOTHING cool about the car. It was absolutely the CHEAPEST thing that could be bought with the Oldsmobile name on it. It shows that from the rubber mat floors, clear down to the hubcaps. "Cheap" has never been classy.

I don't know, Ralph, I find cars optioned like this perversely cool. I'd love to find one of the bottom-feeder 1971 Delta 88s with the 350 2bbl and three-speed column-shifted manual trans.

This is probably the one that a dealer configured to allow them to advertise "Cutlass Supreme starting at $XXXX" and not get busted for false advertising. Also keep in mind that this was the post-OPEC world where people were starting to worry about gas mileage. And then there's the whole oxymoron of a stripper Supreme.

I like the colonnade cars, but I hate the color of this one. When I was in high school, there were a bunch of these in the parking lot 85-89. Sadly, I was stuck with a Monza/Skyhawk mash-up.

The only thing I would like to have from this car would be the clutch linkage in case I ever decided to put a 5-speed in my 75 Hurst/Olds. Then it would be one of none. Even if I had he linkage it would probably never happen. It would be pretty cool though.

What's sad if this was a 1970 Cutlass with a 6 cylinder at the same $4000 price point it would sell in seconds.

Have a 1970 Cutlass S with the factory straight six and column shifted automatic transmission. Oddly optioned with bucket seats, anti-spin, and power disc brakes. Would consider selling if anyone interested.

This one looks like an automatic, though.

You are correct sir. I don't know where I got the idea it was a 3-speed. The look at the speedometer clearly shows it to be an automatic. So, there is absolutely nothing that car I would want.
