That's too bad that the turbo is missing. I don't know how you could replace that.

I have everything for the turbo setup it would need. Sadly, this car is to far gone to restore. I have asked him a question about it and if it comes back with the correct answer I will go pick it up. It don't likely have what I am looking for though.

Hope you can at least get a good parts car. I figured a junkyard Holset or Banks turbo off of a diesel engine wouldn't work.

Dillwyn is out in the middle of BFE about halfway between Lynchburg and Richmond. Eric, if you get this carcass, let me know and maybe we can grab some food in Lynchburg. I'm about an hour and a half away and there's a Cracker Barrel there.

I would strongly suggest sticking to Interstates or at least US460 pulling a trailer across the Blue Ridge Mountains. US60 might look tempting as a shortcut from I-64 at Lexington VA to Dillwyn and carries some truck traffic, but it's two-lane across the mountain and has a couple tricky spots.

It is highly unlikely it will have what I am looking for but if it does we will be going. We LOVE the entire Blue Ridge Mountain area. I mentioned the car to my wife and she didn't care, I then told her were it was and she said OK, When are we going, lol
