Looks like a repaint at some prior time to me, side stripe problems and no trunk stripe spell inconsistencies to me. The engine is a leaking mess. Look to spend some bones to fix her up.
Over 80 grand?... Shoot me. Nice wrong color painted interior pieces. Seat backs. Door panel arm rests etc. I don't see that car worth anywhere close to 80 grand.

You have to compartmentalize aspects of this car. The body has been repainted, however, it looks like the underside of the decklid and possibly the inside of the door retain factory paint. As another posted mentioned, the stripes are incorrect not to mention the wrong color. The blue stripes on azure blue is a sweet look when done right! The blue vinyl top is cool, too.
With regards to the undercarriage, it's not terrible at all. Based on the docs, and the sticker on the windshield, it looks like a New Mexico and Texas car which is why the underside looks pretty good. The OW tag appears to be in order based on other 2nd week of November built W-30 cars.
If you're a serious buyer, it may be worth looking for 'Mike Spearman' who appears to be the original owner. I'd also have to see the broadcast card up close in person to verify. What about the carb? Distributor? Alternator? If the car is in Chicago, per the Craiglist ad, I'd be game for checking it out if anyone is serious.
Kool W-30. Looks like it could be a nice driver. The engine may have had some work or at least the exhaust manifolds were off as they have gaskets and no "French Locks"
