1968 Cutlass S Convertible - SOLD

SOLD!

Like so many others I have come to the sad realization that this project is not going to happen so I am putting this out here in hopes that this car will get in the hands of someone that can get it across the finish line. I will let this linger here for a bit before posting on Craigslist or elsewhere. Unless I am way out of bounds I believe my firm price of $4,500 which takes it all is reasonable...otherwise I will part it out. Additional 1969 455 and 1971 rear end included in this sale. Car is located in Virginia Beach.

- 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass S Convertible. Not original or in any way numbers matching…believe it was originally a 350 with a Jetaway trans.
- Body in excellent shape with exception of bottom front of quarters which appear to need a bit of attention.
- Converting to bucket seats and floor shift. Was originally a bench seat column shift.
- Floor replaced from kick panels through entire trunk along with rebuild of inner rockers and inner rear wheel wells. (Yocum’s Signature Hotrods did this work. Kyle Yocum is formerly of Fantomworks)
- Front cowl replaced (also Yocum’s)
- Frame in good shape. Pressure washed and painted while body was off for above work.
- 1973 455 with G heads. Running when removed for floor work. Rochester Quadrajet.
- 1969 455 with C heads. Running when removed. Heads rebuilt. Engine came out of a 1969 Toronado and I still have the intake and Rochester Quadrajet.
- TH400 transmission bench rebuilt by Gary’s Transmission in Norfolk.
- Power window car
- Hurst his and hers shifter. Converting from column to floor shift.
- Extra steering column, tilt floor shift
- Extra 1971 Type O limited slip rear end (3.08)
- W/Z exhaust manifolds never used
- 1968 Hurst Olds repop red inner wheel wells. My intentions was to trim the engine compartment like a 68 Hurst Olds. I also have the original black inner wheel wells.
- Some extra repop parts from Year One
- All moldings, particularly all peak moldings and wheel well moldings
- SSII 14x7 wheels
- NOS SSII wheel caps
- Rechromed original front bumper

I think I've covered all the major things. Let me know if anyone has any questions or if I'm leaving out important details I should include.

Thanks!
John
