Beautiful car but the price will give one heart palpitations. I'm thinking his wife wants him to sell it. Setting the price that high gets her off his back and if by chance a sheik buys it, he just hit the lottery. Jmo.

The RamRod 350 was not as rare as his high test BS would proclaim.

Yeah i don't agree with the price, I like the car but i never heard that story about the dealerships. 7 hours to go and the bid above 200K, maybe the sheiks are lurking. Will be interesting to see if it actually sells.

Old news. Not the first time the car has been on ebay, nor the first time it's been discussed here. Never received one bid.

Ya old news. Several things wrong, washer bottle, carb, slobber box, radiator, grill, headers, wheels, trim, several engine, and other details as previously mentioned etc. And that's just what we can see. 50K car tops. No mention of a numbers drivetrain. This aint a Tanker Vette, or an L88/L89 or a vert SS LS6, Boss 9, Shelby etc...But it is nice. Not 200-500k nice, that's a pipe dream! He's just sucker fishin. Probably bidding against himself or a buddy is bidding it up for him. Show us the documentation and you might get a bit more than 50-60 to the right drunk Mecum bidder. This should be interesting....again. Bidding has closed as of 8pm eastern.

Not trying to be dumb, but What makes this car so rare?

Because it is a ram rod 350 f-85 and not a Cutlass?

please clue me in

Well it was new to me lol, but a lot of this stuff is. I would have taken the 200k and ran like Baker Mayfield to the bank. Based on the story it was some sort of dealer only car for racing. Last one left Oldsmobile told them to crush them when they were finished racing them. He put alll that in the description of the car. Just tryin to get a few laughs never take eBay seriously, or craigslist for that matter unless you can touch the car. It's like telemarketing you can get mad or have some fun with them. I choose fun, life's too stressful as it is.

Not quite as much as he did when he first put it up for sale at $500,000.00 Wait another year and it will be down to $100,000.00 because there just aren't enough circus goers to visit PT Barnum's show anymore

$200K is just the starting bid, with reserve not met. We have no idea what the reserve is, but my money says it is close to the $500K B-I-N price.
