1990 Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeo One owner superbly maintained show car

Up for sale today is a 1990 Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeo. 145,000 miles.

My dad purchased this about 9 months ago from the original owner who took especially good care of it by keeping it serviced, repaired, and in a garage its entire life. Dad bought it because he had known the car and its owner all its life and wanted my son to make some small repairs on it to bring it back up to snuff so someone else could enjoy driving it and a take it to a car show. It is way too nice to be a daily driver anymore.

The car is in excellent shape. It looks better in person than even in the pictures. The first owner says it had never been wrecked or repainted under his care. Never any rust. The bottom is as clean as the top. It runs and drives out perfect. All lights burn and all accessories including the power windows, locks, seats, antenna work as they should. The headlight doors open and shut perfectly without any hesitation or funny noises.

The few things that got attention are as follows;

The front and rear bumper covers needed refinishing because the top surfaces were a little weathered. So both were removed and refinished in PPG basecoat/clearcoat even down to the bottom edge. The top edge of the drivers door, the headlight doors, and center grille were also refinished to remedy some scratches and nicks. The finish on the rest of the car is amazing. It just glows.

We changed the oil and filter and wiper blades.

New Delco power antenna and four new speakers.

New front brakes and rotors.

New tires.

Two new NOS center caps.

$230 spent to repair guage cluster because odometer was dim.

$600 spent to repair 10 sections in front bucket seats plus refinish the rest so seats look like new again.

The interior is just beautiful. You can just tell the folks that had this did not pig it out or trash it. When the seats were removed, we did not find even a gum wrapper or a french fry in it.

A super detail job where the wheels were removed, the bottom washed off, entire car body wheeled out, then orbital buffed, then hand polished out twice. Interior and engine cleaned perfectly. Wheel wells blacked in.

It is ready to drive to any show and do well.

Plus many more little nick nack things that I have forgotten.
Everything works on the car but the CD player. The wheels are nice, but each has no more than three small places on them where the clear is beginning to peel.
We just have too many cars and can't keep them all. I wish we could. This car is a creampuff.

With all that has been done to this car, I am sure there will be questions. Please feel free to email me or call my dad. His name is Jerry and can be reached at 812 459-1438. He does not text or email.

A cashiers check,or cash is highly encouraged. No bank transfers or Paypal. The fees are God Awful.

$6,195.00

The car will be available for viewing and test drives at the Oldsmobile Homecoming Show, Saturday, June 17th, 2017 in Lansing, Michigan. We also plan to attend the cruise in at Diamondale, Michigan Friday night.

Yes. It does indeed have a factory installed GM sunroof that works perfectly.

Thank you for your question.
