1964 olds ninety eight for sale

Hello all My name is Adam and I have a 1964 olds ninety eight for sale. It is a really nice surviver. It runs and drives. It would be a sweet ride with a light restoration. Comes with all factory manuals. The car is in Diamond springs California. We are asking 6500$ and I could deliver it for a fee.

Welcome to the site. Your really ought to ad more pictures of the interior, under hood, and trunk. A better description would help also, like if it runs and drives.

Body plate and VIN would be helpful as well. Nice to know if it is a standard two-door or a custom sport coupe. Rust issues? Trunk pans, floors, windshield, trunk? Extra parts come with car?

Does it have bucket seats, a tach, and dual exhaust?

Thanks.

You may have a Custom Sport Coupe. They came stock with a 345 hp Starfire engine (it should say Starfire on the air cleaner), bucket seats, console with a console mounted tach, two doors, and dual exhaust. If it doesn't have dual exhaust then maybe it was converted to single or maybe it is not a Custom Sport Coupe and had the buckets, console, and tach added later. If you do have a Custom Sport Coupe than it is fairly rare. I think about 4000 were made. I happen to have one myself, also all original, save for a few new items under the hood (radiator, ignition coil, voltage regulator, brake cylinders, master cylinder, etc). Some new problem seems to crop up every few weeks. Now that the car show season is over in Maryland it doesn't get driven very often.

My apologies. I misread your post. If it has BENCH seats then it is NOT a Custom Sport Coupe. Still a very nice car. Glad to hear it is still drivable. Those Roto Hydramatic 10 (also known as SlimJim) transmissions can be problematic and nobody seems to know how to work on them.

Very cool car. As other have said the Slim Jim Roto Hydramatic is a problematic transmission. If yours drives without problems then that is MOST EXCELLENT!

Someday I would like to have another 64 98.
