Holy rust-belt bondo-bucket Batman!!
He does say it needs to be restored and at least the the hood skin and the roof aren't rusted out.

Sure looks like Allis-Chalmers orange to me?
I like the duct-tape sitting on top of the battery.

"The exact location will be given after purchase"

Does that mean you can't look at it first?
It's a cool car and not far away from me, is that a good deal?

The interior looks nice, though.

That's definitely one where you buy the car in the listing and then immediately start looking for a very dry '70 Cutlass vert, start working on your welding skills in the interim, and immediately start cutting upon receiving it.

Wow....$30000! Maybe there is hope the market is coming back. It says the reserve has been net. That was probably at $100.

$30,000??? Who would pay that amount of money for something that needs so much work? It will cost almost double that just to restore it.

the reserve is supposedly 30,000 - comes with all W30 parts including full W27 except distributor, you could go to see it but it also has no documentation, The parts alone are worth a bundle but I certainly wouldn't be paying out that much at this time, high buck anything always has a market only takes two people to raise the price

Rough, rough, rough. Virtually nothing is useable as-is. That would be a definite PASS in my book.

Me thinks Andy is right. There is a yellow 31 car there receiving the full treatment.

That car is not THAT bad.I have seen worse. The benefit to that car is that everything is intact,& many valuable/rare parts. It's one of 96 built, and the last one I saw fully restored, sold for well over $100,000,so there are buyers willing to roll the dice. The car is located in PA,but the seller's ID is in Ohio. This car was purchased on the east side of Cleveland,at a gas station, about 10-15 years ago, when a guy stopped to ask for directions. This is not your typical Cutlass or even 442.

I have asked to look at cars first before bidding and was ignored. For this reason, there must be BIG things being hidden. I will not buy cars until I see em in person.

I looked at this car 10yrs ago,& it is what it is. I know a few interested parties have already talked with the owner on the phone, getting casting numbers & julian dates,& everything is jiving, with the exception of the distributor, mentioned already. It's pretty obvious that with the amount of money involved, the buyer will take the final look before laying down the money,so one way or another,he will see it before he buys it.

if I had the cash I'd be going after it, 30 - 35k for the car 40 - 60k for parts and restoration - 100k or less into it 100k - 150k value even without the documentation - its just so hard to put all those original W30 parts together - I'd love to have it, two 1970 W30 convertibles with a full W27 rear end (I have never seen another convertible with the W27 rear, I'm sure they are out there but haven't seen it) one automatic, one 4-speed, they would make great garage mates
