Now that's something you don't see everyday. I can't wait to watch this ad get torched.

With the exception of the black interior and the turbos, that is exactly like my car. My paint is a little better.

Definitely a vintage home brew turbo setup. Haven't see that before.

What a POS! However, that homebrew turbo setup is interesting. I hate when the pics are low res.

The history of the car would be nice. Oh yeah, running when parked. And title issues.
Yeah. No.

1975 Hurst Olds W-30. Barn find! Been sitting for at least 20 years, always indoors. 455 olds upgraded with twin turbos!! One of the few Hurst Olds that was black with black interior!! Has some rust around rear window, typical of 70’s GM cars. Dent in RF fender. Interior was in great shape until the mice got to it, it will need a thorough cleaning! 2 new dash pads included with purchase. Also included is an additional 455 with new parts still in the box. Unknown if running, just want it gone! It was running when parked. (If it doesn’t sell soon, I’ll take the time to be sure that it runs). Currently has a title issue, but I know the history, I'll be going to DMV in January to resolve the issue unless it sells first. Power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, and also unique is power windows and locks!! “Hurst/Hatch” T-tops, 3 hurst mudflaps, louvered hood, hurst Dual Gate shifter, truly an amazing car!!! Asking $10,000 OBO.

You can be upside down in this car pretty quick. I love my 75 Hurst Olds and it handles and rides better than the two 72 Cutlass convertibles I have had. However the market for these cars is not nearly as strong as the 68-72 A bodies. With all the issues, this might be a $5,000 car.

I am not quite up to standards on how a turbo should work but isn't there supposed to be an intercooler for the intake air? And what kind of intake manifold would be used to introduce tha forced air into the engine? How would one control the pressure? Very confusing to me...

It's pretty cool for a $2-3k car, but in no way worth the asking price.

I'm curious about the "turbos".

Looks like it has a draw through set up like the old rayjay kits, I’m diggin it. Probably a custom set up using one of these

I agree with you Dan. It does look a lot like it. I still don't know how they close the hood. I don't think there is enough room under my hood for that.

Also, I am kind of a neat-nik and those rusty old exhaust pipes on the top of the engine would drive me crazy, assuming the rest of the engine compartment was kept clean. On that one, not noticeable.

It could possibly be a sweet sleeper for three grand. Too rough to bring big money.

If I'm looking at this properly, air passes through the carb/throttle body, out the sides of that plenum thingy, at which time air and fuel run through the turbo? Then back into the front the the plenum thingy and down into any 4150 style intake manifold?

You are correct, this piece allows you to do a draw through setup while keeping a regular 4bbl and keeping it in an easy spot for carb linkage vs something along these lines.

455 twin turbo

Hey guy new here but i came across this post, as we now own this car! we bought it for parts for a second 75 Hurst old's we have that is the black paint and white interior and we needed certain interior trim pieces from it. Now down to the gritty.

The T-tops were removed prior to us buying it- we did find a great usable set to replace them with.
upon looking at this twin turbo setup all I can say is a lot of work has gone into this car almost like its factory.( which i dont know if it is or not) A lot of work went into the brackets and mounts for this system almost like it was too complex for after market with the way it relocates the ac compressor and bolts to it! Also the exhaust manifolds that are supporting the whole system. Ill try to update as i go and dig further into this car!

Not likely it's factory.

Congrats on your purchase. I'm curious about what you're going to do with it, so subscribed.

we going to make hopefully make two running cars ! they are both 75 Hurst old's w-30 cars. the original plan was a power tour car as we frequent that event and the twin turbo if its a viable option for running will be a hot rod/drag car for run what ya bring events at Orlando speed world

That's cool. I would put port injection on it.And run a Holley computer.Use carb as throttle body.No fuel going thru turbo. On the cheap.

not factory using a ford a/c compressor.nice that they used the shut off valves on the compressor lines, that way you can remove the compressor without losing the freon.
