He turned me off with "barn find". I have grown to detest those words, especially when an opportunist is involved.

$7k for the car, $100k to restore it provided you can find the C/B conversion parts, you're into it for $107k on a $25k car.

I like seeing oddball stuff like this saved, but with those figures in mind...

Who's wasting whose time?

It also brings new meaning to the word "UNMOLESTED".

I agree. Bet it has some stories.

The other comment I like is "Oh it's missing a few windows. I can get more..." Sure you can because those are common.

I just noticed it has a trailer hitch on it. Maybe it belonged to a famous rock band and that is why he thinks it is worth $7,000. This car is really pretty easy to value. Weight x price of scrap metal = value.

I don't think it was molested, it was just drug out into the street and shot.

I bet this car was used by a funeral home for family transport. All of these cars have gone away around here, but they were common to see when I was younger.

Koda, I don't think they shot it. I think they just drug it out in the desert and didn't give it any food and water and just let it die. Still wonder about the trailer hitch.

From the pics I think it's a sedan with extra length added between the rear door and package tray ( hard to see as I'm outside right now). Modern funeral service limos have 3+ doos on each side and multiple rows of seats. I guess limos are built by the coach works to whatever specs the buyer wants.

Thanks for sharing. I didn't know why passenger car ambulances were a thing of the past.
