Agreed, hate to see it now too. But a lot of one year only parts there is nothing else. I wonder if the windshield can even be found new anywhere?

 

If their messing with my car, DOA is how the cops'll find 'em!

 

It disgusts me that anyone would vandalize a car like this. Don't know if shooting them is the right answer, but beating the snot out of them would sure feel right. I'd guess there must be at least a few of these around in some southern yards, and usually the big cars haven't been as picked over and aren't in such high demand.

 

I sent them an email with my condolences and telling them that I posted it here. I also said I hoped they would hold out and sell it to someone other than scrappers and derby people.

They sent me a response saying it was just sold to a gentleman with an "oldsmobile ventura" that wanted to restore the 98.
