While looking thru the Hemmings online, I saw a 1978 Delta 88 Holiday coupe for sale. It's at a dealership called Worldwide Vintage Autos in Denver, CO. It's black with a black 1/2 vinyl top and red vinyl interior. It's a 350 car that looks like it has a bunch of other options. Sharp looking car, especially in black. Seems like there's been a growing interest in these cars so I figured I'd pass this along.
Beautiful. My grandmother had this car in silver. The silver paint sucked but the red velour interior was sumptuous. It had an Olds 350 and that thing moved.
Very handsome cars evoking the "personal luxury" of that period. I owned a nice red one that I really liked that was also in a 350/350 combo for the powertrain. Nice highway cruiser that ride very well.
Looking at the odometer, it looks like it has gone over once.
I bet.
I've owned about 20 used cars in my lifetime. 2 of them were mint, and over 100,000 miles on each. Selling the low mileage based on looks is hit or miss. Yet people never stop trying... My first car which was lowest mileage of all had 42,000 miles by original owner after 20 years. And she was not mint, just in good shape.
Cars like this 78 were not bought to be mothballed. Although it's clearly been in the right hands.
Yep. Check out wear on the cruise control button. They sure used it a lot in only 700 miles!
To be fair, I have since noticed that the ad states: "*This vehicle is being sold mileage exempt due to age. Mileage advertised reflects current odometer reading."

Reason: typed "they ad" instead of "the ad".
