Landau top Question

I had a 1973 Cutlass S. Jet Green with a Landau roof. 30 years later and still the best car I ever owned. I have not seen any cars that have that feature. Was this a rare option? Any one have one? I am looking for one again and am starting to think this maybe a hard car to find. Any info on this option would be great . Thanks

1973 Landau Top

Here is a 1973 Chevelle Malibu with a Landau Top. Very Rare for 1973, probably started toward the end of the year. Notice this has small opera windows, not the big triangular ones. Also has swivel bucket seats.

Watch for rust under the vinyl top. That is a common problem.

Oldsmobile also had an option called the halo roof (I think) anyway, it had a one inch border just above the drip rail uncovered metal painted body color. It was on the Toronado for sure and I have seen one on a Cutlass recently too. Very swank!

edit: And welcome to our site to both of you guys. I haven't noticed your earlier posts.
