That might not impress you but it I think that's pretty coolOne has the proven reliable and safe ACRS(air-bags for all 3 front passengers) with 65,000 miles. The other has the tilt/telescopic wheel and 35,000 miles. Both are as perfect and up to exacting original standards from top to bottom but both have touch-up flaws in paint and the ACRS has needs some available Prado cloth panels installed to be flawless. I believe you will never find two better examples of this very special and unique car because these are amongst the most rare Toronados still in existence. They both have every option available at time of sale including the 8-track system. The ACRS car has a most unusual and extremely rare experimental electronic air purifying system that works with and in addition to the Tempmatic activated charcoal filtration system. They will be available for sale to receive offers until a fair price is received. They are in Boca Raton, Florida.P.S. The display did not give me the option to post pics/attachments. I wonder why?

A little hard to make out what it is that you are talking about, because you never come right out and say what it is.
Are we to presume that you are talking about having 2 Toronados for sale?
If so, a much more meaningful title would be "2 Toronados for sale", preferably with the years shown, too!

The ad seems to be understood by others.

I'm sorry for the confusion. I may write more if I am ever allowed to post pics. That is what most people want.

With 17 posts, you are not a newbie...you are allowed to post pics. You probably need to format them(resize) to get them to work or open a photobucket account as others have done. Yes, I was a little confused by your ad when I read it last week...it says one in the title, but two in the ad. What year are they for people who don't know toros? If you know what you believe to be is a "fair" price, you should post that also. It would probably help you to generate some more interest in the cars...are the cars available separately? Just trying to help...the cars sound interesting.

Smile Finally got some pics here!

I had a freind take my pics to a library computer to get them posted here. Someting in my computer takes the manage attachments option away. I will be reloading the computer from scratch because I checked all settings. So, now you see pics of two great cars that I suspect many "car lovers" do not appreciate as well as other common vehicles based on much I have gathered over time. I believe they would be great for a museum to show the many differences between the ACRS and the standard car like added frame pieces. More importantly such cars could get kids interested in yet another of the many ways that our government takes our tax money to give money to people that do nothing more than decide to have a law that Toronados sold in four of these United States will have rear bumperettes that will be 2" longer than the bumperettes on Toronados sold in the remaining states. Can any of you imagine how much of your parents and grandparents hard-earned money went to something as crooked as the government charging we the people $85,000 for a Chinese screwdriver worth less than .25 cents. Other things such as the proven safety and reliability of the first generation air-bags and much more should make these wanted by the Oldsmobile museum but I guess these museums are not really about teaching much but rather some sort of tax haven/write-off situation for the rich based on what they are supposed to do in comparison to what they do. I am all for the rich as I am somewhat rich myself but I also care about all others equally and I show that by sharing my knowledge with hopes of learning more in the process to do more for others.

One more thing...

A while back some smarty pants told me that if I care so much about history and sharing that I should allow the museum to borrow the cars. HA! Like I am some total idiot to trust an organization that is such a sham as to not be able to purchase cars that clearly should be displayed if the museum is doing what it is supposed to be doing? No, inspite of the impression my words give some of you, I am not that kind of idiot! I do not think I will find a buyer here. I am just sharing great images and a few worthwhile thoughts. I will put up interior shots at my leisure If some thuggy teen comes up with a decent offer he will have a ride that will rival the hottest custom cars here in Boca Raton where high-school kids will drive a Rolls Royce to school if they are not using their parent's Ferrari

answer these questions :

would you take $$1500 for each?

what size motor is in them?

what documenatation do you have?

what are the vin#'s of these vehicles?

who is the actual owner of these vehicles?

why can't you follow the rules and just post a price?

Strange thread? Humor can seem strange :)

I apologize for any confusion. I try to be entertaining if only to myself. I guess I spend too much time alone I posted here not expecting to find a buyer here because nothing I have found here indicates the patrons at this site would think my cars have much value. I do not have to sell them but will if a reasonable offer comes in. I do not simply state the price I want because a "real buyer" does not usually ask for the price before getting all the facts that reveal the car's value. I posted here to share images that some will appreciate as I do many other images I have seen. I am just "showing off"! How's that for "strange"?

I respectfully disagree. If it's an Oldsmobile, we like it and it has value.

I would raise my level of expetations, post some pics.Tell us about your cars and make some new friends.

You might be suprised at the level of interest.

I am not so smart as to read the fine print :)

I didn't realize such a rule is here about posting price. I like rules and will follow all orders Does everybody like that I use smiley faces liberally?I will try to get pictures as soon as I can along with more detailed info. I am not a salesman by trade and it takes me very long to compile all info on anything. I have learned that we all must be some sort of salesperson, so, I'll give it my best shot I will have these available for sale for an indefinate amount of time with hopes of getting close to $15,000.00 per Toronado. I am well aware of the opinions of the "car men" who love to mock high prices of cars they do not own and that is why I did not want to reveal my price. I am too sensitive for many but incredible to some others Have a nice day!

Its not a matter of rules, its a matter of common sense. A buyer needs to know exactly what is being offered (full descriptions and pics) and a price. It is that simple. You're quite free to amuse yourself, but you shouldn't be surprised when you find that does nothing to sell your cars.
And I think there are people here a lot more serious about Oldsmobiles than you are.

Vaaaroooom!

I am not likely as serious about Oldsmobiles as those who have so cleverly and predictably responded to my words of little amusement to y'all. The cars speak for themselves if veiwed in person but as I respectfully said before, I do not expect to find a buyer here because of such comments given to me that I have seen here and heard on one of my favorite TV shows: "King Of The Hill". I post pics to give to those who can appreciate my efforts. Does anybody here really think I am trying to sell cars here? I am serious about being freinds with actual real life, in person, people not cars. I am learning how to be freinds with those who have conversation guidelines and restrictions that take me back to that mean lady in Sunday school that would hit kids that did wrong. I guess in this crowd I am just plain and simply strange!

As I've said, you're (somewhat) free to say what you want here. But to me (and I think most others here), I find it impossible to take you seriously.

At least you are honest in stating you are not interested in buying these lead sleds! I can't do it now cause "King Of The Hill" is comin on!Maybe after these cars of little monetary value do not sell I can offer the engines for sale to go into Cutlass' that should have 350's and classic jetboats! I can get enough profit from scrap steel! I bet many of you are chuckl'in like my freinds on King Of The Hill! You fellas sure make it hard to do what I set out to do which is share images with decent people that are not out to ridicule and hate for no legitamate reason. I do not use the perfect words for this group? As David Letterman might say: "Oh my...".I must go now to get a real life

Let's lighten up this thread a little. Did you know Hugh Hefner was 83 on his last birthday but his dick was 115.

Sorry I just couldn't resist. How often do you get to tell a Hugh Hefner joke in an Olds forum. Hope I didn't break any rules.

Nice cars, I think anybody who likes oldsmobiles can appreciate these cars. I hope you find a good home for them? I would not part them out.
I thought the airbag comment was a reference to one of Heff's girlfriends.

Those are nice Toronados. They probably have 455s in them. They are 75s right? I think that was the first year for the optional "airbag."

The ACRS car has a most unusual and extremely rare experimental electronic air purifying system that works with and in addition to the Tempmatic activated charcoal filtration system.
You mentioned above that the Toros have an additional emissions control system. What is it? Is it a form of AIR injection, or an early catylitic converter. If you could post pics I would appreciate it.

Your posting style is odd. However, realize that this group of people is probably the most well informed groups on the internet when it comes to Oldsmobiles. Don't try to pull the wool over our eyes. We are subject matter experts.

BTW, I like King of the Hill too. My favorite episode is the one where Hank makes Bobby a display case for his Troll "action figures."
