FS: 1966 Oldmobile Delta 88 Convertible in Massachusetts
I'm selling my 66 Delta 88 Conv't. It'll make a good restoration project for someone. It has a (1975) 455 4BB carb, auto with the switch pitch torque converter, PS, PB. It is a running driving car with ~131K mi. Only driven ~8K mi in the last 12 yrs. I had visions of restoring this car when I bought it in 2002 but it's just not going to happen. It's just out of a lengthy storage. I bought a battery for it, checked the fluid levels and it fired right up. I had the top replaced soon after I bought it. The hydraulic cylinders and lines have also been replaced. Other work done during my ownership includes brakes (shoes and wheel cyls), Water pump, all hoses/vac lines. Front end work was done as needed, ball joints, CA bushings etc. I'l try to get pics up asap as I clean it up.
Asking $4250 OBO.

Thanks Eric, It will an easy restore for someone with the skills to do the bodywork. The body is pretty straight and the rust isn't terrible but it is there. It runs and drives well too. More pictures to come when I get it home and wash it up.

If you had MA in the title, I didn't even notice it. Where in Massachusetts?
You ought to stick a phone number and/or email address in your ad as well. Right now, the only way people can respond to your ad is by posting here or sending you a private message.
The bottom line is, you're trying to sell a car that, as nice as it is, will have a limited audience. You want it to be easy to find, and you want it to be easy for people to contact you. You don't want to lose a sale because someone gave up in frustration.

Thanks for the good words. The frame is pretty solid. The trunk pan is a little weak and the RF floorpan around the drain plug has a minor issue. I took it out today for the first time in~5yrs and it was a blast. Drives just like when I stored it, leaky exh. manifolds and all. So far, this is the only venue that I've posted it FS. Once I get it cleaned up and ready for a mainstream audience, I'll put it out on other sites with the pretty pics. I thought that the enthusiast crowd would appreciate seeing the unveiling photos.
