It looks like it could make a pretty nice car with a little work. It could be a nice driver and the top does go down. Good luck selling it.

I wouldn't pay any attention to anything Andy says. Sarcasm is the only thing he knows.

Very nice looking car for a non-Olds - I like the burgundy interior and top!

Nice looking ride. Good luck selling it. BTW, how long have you owned it? I'd swear I saw that car on the road when I lived up in Corning and used to work in your town.

There'll be a small lever at the bottom of the dash that says "PEDALS". See ad above.

The Pontiac dealer here went all out for the last big Pontiac convertible they ordered. They ordered it with intention of keeping it, and it stayed on its MSO and dealer plates until they sold out to the Buick dealer in 1997. Some of the principals in the Pontiac dealership went with the deal, but they finally had to title the car in the Fuquay family's name in 97 as Fuquay Pontiac was no more.

That car had every option available in 1975 including the adjustable pedals and leather interior.

It got caught in a hailstorm around 1993 and had to be repainted. Other than that, the car was completely original. The Fuquays finally sold it in 2005 along with a 1975 GrandAM they'd sold new, taken in trade, and kept all those years. I was offered first refusal on both, but had nowhere to store them. The Grand Ville went north (look for a fully loaded silver/black ragtop), but the poor GrandAM ended up in the hands of a crackhead who cannibalized it to support his habit, eventually junking it when there was nothing more left to sell off it. I have kicked myself many times for allowing that fate to befall that car.

Tin Man,
Nice big ol boat. I love big cars. The interior looks fantastic. Suggestion: when you're trying to sell, also show details of the engine, trunk and underneath. Doesn't have to be mega pics, just enough to show what's there. It would also be nice to have shots with the top down, head on, tail, and both sides. Also state mileage (whether actual or unknown). If you have the pics hosted on a website already, (like photobucket), attach the link for potential buyers to view.

I recently almost bought a 75 Regency in mint shape from a dealer in KY, but he wouldn't give me the pics I wanted, or extra details I asked for, so I walked away. The price that Kelley and NADA had on the Olds came out to around 4400.00. and the guy was asking 7900.00. It didn't sell. The car looked like it was just out of the factory, and had only 37000 original miles. I think you'll find the market for big cars is (pardon the pun) relatively small.

Hope you are able to sell it to someone who will respect the car for what it is. Hope you don't mind the tips, but that's information that I would want if I were a buyer. Have you also posted this on Pontiac forums?

I have a big 98 going up for sale next week as as the brakes are done.( nice tease hhaa) and there is a silver and black grand ville on e-bay in N.J. or you could paint this one just picking. Tin man Oh yeah Pontiac Forums??? mean there is more then just Oldsmobile out there....
