I wish that car was worth $79,000. That would mean my 75 would be worth crazy $$. They are dreaming at that price. Nice car though.

I think that's a $40k car.

Last time I looked at B-J there was nothing like that on it. Instead, nothing but restomods as far as the eye could see.

Nice car, I agree -- decent value at half the price.

I was talking more about the alcohol-fueled prices in general.

X2 Joe. I imagine BJ gets a nice return on the money it spends on alcohol at it's auctions.

These are more like nitromethane fueled prices.

Call me crazy but I turned down $40,000 for my 75 H/O twice. It was cash money and I know it was from a drug dealer. There are two things, it is too nice a car to sell to a drug dealer and I don't want the FBI ringing my doorbell one day. Plus, I don't want the money that came from selling fontanel to kids. So I guess that is three things.

Would you have sold it at that price if the money came from a reputable buyer and a legitimate source?

In as heartbeat. It is a very nice car but I just don't think it is worth that kind of money.

Yes, that car is really Beautiful. I do agree $75,000 is way, way off base for a 74 H/O. I also agree that the TV auctions is part reason why these cars are getting unaffordable for the average enthusiast, unless you bought one 10 years ago or better. As a buyer, I can’t justify the prices anymore. I just window shop they are too expensive for me. 😭😭😭😭

Low hp , hard to find parts. Looks nice, rare. But is it worth big big money? I'll go for a documented 442 for that price first.

Well, over a month later it's still available. Should tell us something.

One thing I notice is that it'll need new tires right away. I don't think Goodyear has made white letter Eagle GT II's in about 20 years.
