83 dealer paperwork
Family friend passed away and his family gave this folder with some 83 and 84 Hurst Olds dealer paperwork. Factory photo of the 83, 84 and 442. A letter announcing the introduction, order form, dealer album supplement and part numbers for the Hurst equipment. Thought I would share and if anyone needs more info from it can take better pics. Probably been posted before but its nice to reminisce.

Pretty cool. Thanks for sharing. They were supposed to make about 4 early production models after November 2, but prior to November 21, 1983. They got off to a slow start, though. My 84 car is conversion #19 and it was built the last week of November.
I got some GM "artwork" they used to have dealers promote the 84 H/O in local newspapers with the cars in different sizes and angles. I'll have to see if I can find it.

Neat stuff...
Per the first document, I find it odd that when ordering, the W40 Hurst/Olds pkg must be designated 'and' Lower/Upper color code '17' must be designated.... as if you had a choice??

The 83-84 H/Os were painted all one color, either black for 83 and silver for 84. Then, it was manually taped off and the lower color was painted at the factory.
