The Canadian Import sticker was attached to the front part of the VC. Where the tape is now is where the breather goes for the OAI. Same as on the other side of the RS VC. It should have a breather vent instead of VC. The obvious reason is the missing OAI elements and the original 7042251 carb.

Just an observation, as the 72 442 is not a separate model, ie., not having its own vin, the internal voltage regulator alternator was removed and an external v.r. was used as on a regular Cutlass, which seems to be a regressive step. I wonder Olds thinking behind this change, as the two year W30 engines were almost identical.
Being a rare low production model, I wonder if the purchaser would be tempted to install a console or leave it as it is.
GLWS. It has the potential to be a fabulous W30.

What did it sell for ??
I wish u guys who are into the W cars would say price on selling and buying them would help out every 1 else who is into olds w cars i know its a pure greed thing but dam it man these cars are for sale and ever 1 has a price high or low its how lucky u are that day
