Was this Wayne Shipley's car from Maryland? Traded a lt. blue '69 W31 post ( Hemmings Muscle Machine of the Year) to get the '70? If so, I know the car and kinda followed the engine build---Wayne's son built one for me. You know Wayne's old '72 was sold to Sam Murray and now is a record holder in N.H.R.A. I'm surprised (if this is the car I think it is) the car is for sale----it's a GOOD one. Until next time.....Dave.

 

Yes Dave you are correct. It was Wayne's car. As far as the engine we tore it down and have totally rebuilt again but this time upgrading the 350 engine to compete in the Supercars Racing class. Similar rules of the F.A.S.T. class. It is a really nice car no doubt. I know Sam Murray well. Raced with him a couple of weeks ago at the Olds Performance Club open drag day. He raced the Rund car from years back, what a day.............
