69 442 W30 at auction

Looks to be from the same owner of the 68 W30 that had a thread on here recently. Looks to be an extremely nice car.

It did not sell. The listing was moved over to classiccars.com for now.

Is that you in the reflection bending down that low? Knees of a 21 year-old?

I am trying to thin the herd a little bit it has become a full time job trying to maintain the fleet and do restorations. The 68 W30 that I listed on BaT didn’t sell and will go back in the garage however the 69 W30 is going to be sold and a few other cars yet to be determined. I will also be selling some parts I have been collecting for years.

no convertibles are for sale at the moment

I understand that sentiment. Although this 72 H/O I bought is very nice, it's far from concourse; presuming your Hursts are in the same condition as the two 442s we've seen, someday I aspire to own an older years Hursts in like condition.

I totally get where your coming from...it can be a lot of work. I took early retirement 5 years ago and sold four of my cars keeping a GNX and Stage 1 convertible. I’d love to find the 69 W32 I used to own but I’m not sure I want to sell what I have now or even add an additional car. Best of luck with your W30. Its a beautiful car as is the 68.
