67 Cutlass Supreme

67 Cutlass Supreme 2-door sedan, later 350 Olds, turbo 350, ps, pb, ac, needs motor and brakes, Texas car with minimum rust. The car has sat since about 2000 and the motor is stuck. The body is decent with some obvious bodywork and an amatuer paint job but looks pretty good as a driver-quality car. There is some rust in the right rear quarter behind the wheel well. The trunk floor also has some flaking rust, but no holes that I noticed. Overall, the car would make a good looking driver with some mechanical work or could be a good start for a bigger project. The car is located in Guthrie, OK and I am asking $4500 obo. Call with any questions 580-370-0982.
Thanks, Jeff

Not to lead you on for a potential sale but what would it cost to ship to 02777?

If you are patient I have yet to pay more than 600-800.00 range to ship a car. The key is finding someone going that direction that has an empty slot. It might take a few weeks but the deals are out there.

If this car don't sell for this price, the market is a lot worse than any of us think. I love those 67's.

It doesn't appear to be looking good for the market...

It's not the market. This car is overpriced for what it is. It needs engine, brakes, poor quality body and paint work with more rust than meets the eye.

66400, where do you live? By the looks of it, here on the east coast, that car for that price wouldn't last a day!

I'm not sure why you would try to make the car sound worse than it is. I was a paint and body guy for 20 years or so and 90% of what I did was show cars (mainly Corvettes). Therefore, I am more critical than most of paint and body work. I am just trying to be as honest as possible about the condition. You are probably right about more rust than meets the eye. I bet there is rust under the trim on the right rear quarter under what is visible.

Austin, Tx. Even here a truly rust free 42yo GM "A" body is the exception to the rule. Average local car will have front and rear window channel rust which leads to floorboard rust along with trunk floors, lower quarter and lower front fender rust. Henry

I think $3500 is a fair price. I would come out and buy it (or at least look at it and haggle) and put in my extra 455 if I didn't have my 71 98 as a project. Plus I just bought a new AC/furnace for the house and my wife would kill me if I even mentioned another Olds.

I did not intend to offend you but that's the way I read your car. There is a 99% chance the rear window channel will be rusted through, which caused the trunk floor to be covered with rust along with the lower quarters. The bench seat interior and missing air conditioning parts further hurts the cars sales appeal.

I don't remember everything about it nor did I look over it with a fine tooth comb but I do remember the area between the trunk and the back window to be pretty solid.

The description of this car is dead on. It was a North Texas car and used to run around the Ft. Worth area. I have seen it in person and the only visible sign of rust is under the right rear molding just behind the wheel well. The area at the base of both sail panels is solid and doesn't show the typical rust that 66 and 67 GM A bodies are known for. From what I can remember about the car, the trunk floor flaking is due to a bad trunk seal.
