Hello everyone, I hope whoever is reading this is doing well.
I've got a 1965 Oldsmobile Jetstar 1 that I am unfortunately parting ways with due to moving constraints. Here's the tl;dr:
- 1965 Jetstar 1
- Two tone silver and red paint, 7.5-8/10 condition
- Cream interior in 6.5/10 condition (ripped seats, headliner is tight but needs love, carpet is worn, dash is great.)
- Absolutely rust free frame, body has 3 small bubbles, no rot anywhere to be seen.
- Built 425, Ross pistons and a hog Comp Cam all installed by a reputable shop in the area. Edelbrock carb (I believe to be undersized) on a Performer 455 intake. Always starts and idles great, I think the carb is holding back some ponies though.
- Everything works except the courtesy lamps, car goes into every gear and always starts, has an aftermarket stereo hidden in the glovebox and speakers in the door cards. An amp and sub in the trunk appear to work but are certainly dated.
- Lots of spare gaskets and parts, including the original air cleaner housing.
I traded a motorcycle worth $15,000 for this car and have been fixing things up for the past few months. Unfortunately I am moving in April and the car will no longer be able to come with me. I would keep it if I could, but I am sure somebody here would love it more than I ever could.
The car is located on Cape Cod Massachusetts. I can deliver anywhere within 1.5 hours of Bourne, MA for full price. Please let me know if you have any questions!
