Offering for sale is a 1965 Oldsmobile Jetstar 1. Engine is the 425 cubic inch big block, and has the Turbo 400 transmission with the original "switch pitch" dual stall speed converter. The engine has a new Mallory electronic distributor, and a new Edelbrock 750 CFM carb. I do have the original point's distributor, and the original 4GC 4-barrel carb, the original carb was just getting too finicky for everyday driving. No permanent alterations were made, and original parts will just bolt back on. The car has air, but not working, power steering, and recent high end front disc brake conversion. It will stop on a dime..
The body is super solid. No rust through in the floor pans or trunk, as shown in the picture I took when installing carpet. Floor pans coated with POR15 epoxy for protection. Trunk drop offs, and outer wheel houses in great shape. Both rear quarters have a small amount of rust behind each wheel that is bubbled, but not through. Driver side front fender has a small spot on the bottom outer, but the brace is in great shape. Small amount of rust on back window. Pass fender, door bottoms, trunk lid underneath, all great condition. A minimal amount of metal work would be needed, if restored..
Please note, this is NOT a fully restored car, and those looking for such, should be searching much higher price points. The tires are brand new, as well as the steel vintique wheels, 15X7 fronts, 15X8 rears, and 65 olds dog dish hub covers. It is a relatively rare car, and an easy restore, or cruise as is. Interior is very nice. Factory buckets with console, and working factory tack. New carpet and headliner. For more information, respond to the contact phone number after 5PM weekdays, or reasonable time's weekends. Car is currently in climate controlled storage. Shown by appointment only.
Asking $6750.Update: I must reiterate that the car has not been restored, so assume it does not have new paint (it's 20 plus years old), the bumpers and some other things will need re=chromed, and so on to be perfect. This is a driver quality car that I have invested in to make it super reliable. Never has it not started, or had to be towed home.

Thanks 65B01Delta, I called him and unfortunately his power out and his cell phone was almost gone. Must have been a storm up that way. Seems pretty for that kind of money. I just cautious about Northern cars and what someone considers "rust free or very little rust" I have been BURNED and that subject. Appreciate the lead see what happens. If it gets to the point I'm interested enough I think I will ask someone in the Club to go look it over, or fly up there.

Ahh...I was wondering where all the out of state calls were coming from, lol! We had very high winds last night, and lost power and a lot of trees. Temps went from about 70 degrees to high 20's in little more than a day. I'm beginning to hate Ohio, lol!
For anyone interested, I'll be glad to send as many pictures as needed. The last thing I would want is for someone to travel such distance, and not have a very good idea of the condition of the car.
