65 dynamic 88 2dr 425ci in colorado

SOLD!! Please delete.

Inherited this car from grandfather who lived in Sacramento and garaged it it's entire life. Needless to say it is rust free. Is a great driver. Just redid the brakes.new wheel cyls. and dual stage master for a '67. Seats need reupholstered and glove box door is scratched from some idiot who got into it at the grocery store trying to steal stuff and didn't realize he could just push the button!! The 425ci is a 2bbl and runs awesome. Tranny shifts stout and the car drives straight as an arrow. I am not into big cars and just want somebody to take care of it since I don't have the time or energy(I have a 1yr. old girl who takes all my time). Looking for $5000 or trade for a diesel pickup preferably a cummins truck. The car is located in Falcon,CO. E-mail Ry66cobra@yahoo.com 65oldsdash.jpg

Looks like a sweet ride for 5k...too bad you're not on the east coast. It would be gone in a second at that price. Good luck.

Erik would be all over that like a hill billy on a bag of pork rinds if you were in his area!

Nice car, good luck selling it.

What is involved in the dual master change over? My 65 Delta needs to have the upgrade.

Just get yourself a new master from the local parts store for a '67 Delta with all wheel drums and a prop valve from any big late 60's/early 70's GM car with all wheel drums and bend up some new lines and that's about it. In particular I used a valve from a 70 4dr Nova. The new system works great and I have never had a more "full" pedal. Thanks for the bump.

Cool

Just an update for everyone: I went digging in the glovebox today and found the owners manual, warranty guide book,protect-o-plates,and the ORIGINAL sales invoice from the purchase back on 8-14-65!! My grandfather actually got a $500.00 trade credit for his 1959 98 2dr towards this car. Cool stuff! I wonder what took the place of Jack Harvey Oldsmobile in Hayward,CA? Anybody know if this stuff adds any value to the car? I'll post pics when I can,Thanks!!

Colorado auto repair can still fix this baby. rather than swapping it. i think the value for this will raise before you sell it.

Did ya have to bash the inner fenderwell some for the metal lines out of the master to clear?

No. I just used a custom tube bender and took my time. I don't like to destroy things unless absolutely necessary. A double flaring tool also comes in handy for custom brake line work.
