1964 Olds Dynamic 88 convertible. All original with rebuilt 4GC 4bbl Skyrocket 394 and slim jim trans. Power everything. windows, top, steering, brakes, seat, trunk, antenna. Tilt, cruise, am radio with on the floor station change, Autotronic eye and A/C converted to R134. 3.23 positrac rearend.
Driven every week. Engine and trans are original
and do have leaky seals, but runs and drives sweet. Newer dual exhaust, all new conv top components. All electrics but cruise and autotronic work as they should. Pertronix 3 ignition converted and works great. Replaced all front end bushings and new tie rod ends. Springs and shocks also replaced 3 years ago. Not a show car, but a great looking cruiser!

 

That's nice. Probably the most loaded D88 I've ever seen. GLWS.

Double check that engine. That's a SkyRocket air cleaner. Starfire engine will have an S suffix on the engine number on the left cylinder head. Also, how did you do the dual exhaust?

 

True dual exhaust from factory skyrocket engine manifolds. Aluminized pipe with magnaflow stainless mufflers.

 

I don’t need another 60’s big olds with all the power toys, but that’s a terrific offering.

Also, do not be embarrassed by the non-functional cruise or autronic eye. They’re interesting systems, but no one designing them expected them to live into the year 2020.

When were supposed to have flying cars.
