I learned on my brother 62 convertible with red interior, wheel lug nuts on the passenger side are left handed.

 

Thanks and they were left hand on drivers side I changed them to regular so I could use chrome lug nuts lol

i believe jgreling out of the chicago area sells chrome left handed nuts for the early pontiac 8-lugs.
