1985 442 Not Mine
A friend in Va., has decided to sell his one owner, 26,000 mile 442. This car has always been in dry storage, and has not been driven
very much in the last 3 or 4 years. He described it as almost perfect.
Anyhow, if you have interest PM me.
I have pics coming.
Asking mid 20k price.

Interesting. My 85 442 was built 105 cars after this one. Almost like mine except for not having 6 way driver bucket, illuminated passenger visor mirror, remote RH mirror, power antenna, high capacity battery, and power trunk release.
No more pics? That's all?
I do have one other question so far- what is this??? (red arrow) That doesn't look right. It doesn't seem to blend with the other rock guard.

under the car shots showing the belly pans, frame, general condition, etc., close angle shots of the sides of the car showing straightness of the body, a driver side full car shot, shots under the T-tops.
You know, typical shots of a low-mileage car that would support its asking price.

I thought that too, but the rock guard, if properly applied, would preclude that area from being a clear reflection of anything. The area right in front of it doesn't have any potential reflections. Not ruling it out, but something doesn't seem consistent in that area. Just wanting to know if that's a potential problem area. I can tell you from experience that the factory was very sloppy about the rock guard as well as body color line changes under the stripes.
