It's always so sad to see these cars in this shape. That car was someone's pride and joy once. He or she (most likely he) brought it home from the dealer one sunny afternoon, parked it in the driveway, and spent the next couple of hours showing it off and talking about it to all the neighbors who came by.
Now look at it.
Yes, the back glass alone is worth more than what he's asking for the car. I have a '78 XS, and I've seen back glass selling for $700 to $1000 on ebay.
Another part with some value are those rims, which are unique to Toronado and Eldorado. No one makes them new, and good ones routinely go for $75 to $100 on ebay.
shouldn't it have a 403?those are kindof sought after too.
Yes and yes, its written like whoever listed it does not know much about the car or its value. A Toronado 403 is the highest rated version that could be had in a car at 190 HP. Only the motor-home version was more powerful. Because the motor-home is considered a truck it did not require a catalytic converter. However it was still quasi dual exhaust, 2 mufflers into one tailpipe. Resulting in a 200 HP rating if my memory serves me correctly.
The ad clearly states $500.00 which is absurd, that's metal money... Something odd about the link when I open it to the right of the ad its says $12,345 ?

Reason: wording

Face book is asinine . You can only list a car for NADA value or more.
