That's a shame if it has an OD transmission. The dual gate was one of the defining features of a 79 H/O. In fact, it was the only real significant difference between it and an 80 442.

Agreed. Hard to tell if that's a dual gate. Obviously a repaint huh? Is it missing emblems? Why W-30 emblems/stickers in one picture? I am no expert on 79's. Nice description. Not.

Still not a bad car I think the price is a little high but prices are crazy now ( thought mine was a $10.000.00 car )
I must re-evaluate my ride.
quick 79 H/O check list
Header Black emblem instead of red Black Calais center hood emblem instead of red.
His and Hers shifter.
Headlight pull black with chrome trim plate ( try and find those )
Under the hood you should see lots of Blue bolt heads holding fenders, Radiator and others all over.

Lastly Look at the rear rails holding the bumper for rust and broken rails.

Good Luck they are fun to drive
