1978 Oldsmobile Toronado Brougham for sale in SW Chicago proper near the cities of Blue Island and Alsip.

I bought this car on July 1, 2025 and have driven it roughly 800 miles in that time. Odometer now shows 54k most likely 154k

The good: excellent interior, starts every time and drives well. Tons of compliments even in comparison to my other Olds. I feel married to my Delta whereas I picked this one in hopes of enjoying it until I could get it on to even more loving hands. Ive accomplished the enjoying it part.

The bad: likely needs some kind of carb work although im not mechanically inclined. after the car has been out about 8 to 10 miles in one trip, it will stall out at red lights. The car immediately starts again and continues on but the issue will persist for that trip. After a break and the next ride, it will start strong and repeat the pattern.

Passenger door likely sideswiped another car or fence, etc. Both doors have a number of trim pieces removed. I have some (possibly all?) of this in the trunk of the car but have not spent time sorting through it.

There is some rust present at the spots these pieces have been removed. Otherwise it is a solid car.

Small things like power antenna and 8 track player do not work.

I have gotten a 4th hubcap added and 2 additional spares from this site which would be included.

I dont need to sell it but would if there is any interest here.
