NON RUNNING CAR
This is a 1978 Oldsmobile Omega SX Brougham. It is a very rare car. Car is loaded with bucket seats floor shift console tilt wheel cruise control POWER windows (rare option for X-body cars) air conditioning power disc brakes rear sway bar rear fan defogger special chrome accents and special interior. Car has 63,000 original miles on it. The v6 engine in it is partially disassembled and has not run for a long time. I have had the car for about 10 years and that's how I got it. Car will need a few things but is a great solid, virtually rust free car. I have another dash with no cracks and all the trim. Console box lid is broken loose. Needs headliner board. I had big plans for this car as it will make an amazing muscle car. Drop in an Oldsmobile 350 455 or a 403 or even an LS swap or a small block Chevy. These cars look way better than the Nova of the same years. I put in two pictures of my other 78 SX that was a race car that I sold a few years back for reference. You can see that they are tough looking cars when done upright! Car has virtually no rust but will need to be cleaned up. I'm open to reasonable offers but I'm not going to give the car away. I will be listing it on eBay soon if no one makes a decent offer.
No dreamers or low ball offers. Save everybody's time.
$1800 obo. Car can be picked up in Utah Salt Lake City area or you can arrange shipping.
I prefer a phone calls not text messages. If you want information give me a call. 801-722-5019. Thanks. Tim
Interesting. Did not know the Brougham and SX options were available together. Oddly, the Omega SX in '78 and '79 were nicer looking than the '78 and '79 442. Though not sure if an Oldsmobile engine was available in the Omega those years. What is with the '68 Camaro in the background?
