That's a pretty car. I like that color. My father; Oldsguy, had a 78 Delta 88 that was the same color many years ago. He said it was the best car he every owned.
The B bodies in 76 had some interesting vinyl top configurations. I've seen some with the vinyl top on the front half of the roof which doesn't cover the B pillars.

Wow, that is one well preserved car. I have actually never seen one without a radio like that though. It's odd to see that it has A/C and cruise but no radio or clock. I love seeing the different ways in which these cars were opted sometimes. I once owned a '76 98 Regency parts car that had no A/C...a 98 Regency without air, I never thought I'd see that but I owned one. It even had the fresh air vents in the kick panels. Very interesting but not overly desirable.
I hope this car goes to a good home.

I never understood the reasoning behind a deletion such as that.
Even someone w/o my level of OCD must think that big lonesome panel looks downright goofy.
It's only a radio - doesn't tie into anything else ... & if you stuck with a simple AM single speaker setup from the factory - I don't see it breaking the bank.
Even if it ceased to work at some point in the cars life ... it would have zero effect on getting between A to B.
These days ?.
I can fully understand the desire to not want certain things in a car.
Integrated climate control & sound systems can become a nightmare when they go bad & potentially make a car unable to safely get you from A to B if the weather is bad.
It also throws a monkey wrench into audio upgrades as well ... should someone have the desire.
A situation that could be avoided or at least lessened by having separate control panels for each.
Sadly ... many vehicles these days are no longer made that way.

I don't have the Dealer Guide or SPECS for the 1976 model year so I'm just making an observation from the ones available to me, re: radio
What I found interesting about the 70 and up Oldsmobiles is they tended to have the antennas in the front glass. So the standard feature of the car shows a windshield mounted radio antenna, but no radio. This is the first Royale I've ever seen with the radio delete, but according to the standards, that is what the car would be built with unless ordered with a radio of some kind.
For such a nice luxo barge (smooth and quiet) it's almost unheard of to be missing a radio of some kind there. No worries. I guess anyone who wants tunes could put a hidden unit in the glove box. Cutting that dash would just look completely butchered.
