1974 Delta 88 Ragtop $4500
There's a 1974 Delta 88 convertible for sale just down the street from me. The asking price is $4500. Looks good from the street, has been for sale since last summer when he was asking $6500 for it. Suppose to run and drive good (455), top was replaced recently, something wrong with the power unit that makes it go up and down, white on white. The owner moved across the state and a friend of his is trying to sell it for him. I've talked with the friend but not looked at the car myself. If anyone is interested I can check it out this weekend and take photos for your. Located in Medford Oregon, along Interstate 5 near the California border.

The tops can be a little hassle. I replaced the bushings/pins/ latches, new "power"cables. Hopefully they checked out the main body before putting on the new top. I have a couple spare top assemblies so I robbed some good parts from one for mine. The electric motor powers a "transmission" on each side, it does this using two "speedometer" type cables, one t each side. Each side has to be "timed" to work even. Mine was all screwed up and non-working when I dragged it off a hill in Pa. It was a little hassle but works smooth now. Nice riding cars, mine is a 455 about 350 true HP. If the body is pretty rust free grab it. Good Luck, Ken

Rocket9r8 I sent a message to your email address. If you didn't get it I replied that the car is still there. I'll check with the guy storing it and if he's online I'll pass on your email address. It sounds like Kennybill knows these cars and could help you troubleshoot whatever is wrong with the top.

Hey Man, welcome Home!!! Thanks again for your service to our country! I'll try to get photos of the car this weekend and look for your email address. I'll also get a phone number so you can talk with the guy storing it and maybe plan a trip down if it sounds good enough to you. John
