Clean as can be and ready to test drive. Garage kept, good paint and interior, 455 engine. 89,057 miles !! Has been garaged last seven years, since death of owner. Gas tank and radiator drained before storing. Was started over the holiday and is ready for a test drive. Baby blue inside and out. It needs filler panels front and rear since they were plastic and deteriorated with age. I am assisting the owner and her attorney to settle the estate. Her health is making it necessary for her to downsize and move to town. Reply to this ad for telephone number.

I'm certain that car was cherished and adored by her owner and treated as a member of the family her whole life. I bet the husband picked out the car but the wifey picked the interior color. Toronado's are majestic cars and this one looks like a fantastic driver. If this baby still has her original paint than I'm surprised by the luster. I always remembered GM light blue and silver fading out after just a few years, even with lots of waxing.
Yes !! It is a really nice clean car !! I was shocked at the condition when the garage door was opened !! Was not expecting this because when I was asked to take the pics and list it for the owner they just said it was an "old car"!! From what the lady said it was garage kept and she did drive it a few times but didn`t like the front wheel drive !! She told me she didn`t like the feel of being pulled rather than pushed and just couldn`t get used to it !!
I could see no evidence of a repaint !! It would be an excellent driver !!

As far as I know there are no issues with anything except the filler panels !! But would be happy to give her a call if needed,,just let me know !!
There are wrecking yards here in Texas so they could probably be found !! I assume that repros are available !! Perhaps some of the resto places online or ebay !! If it were me I would have them made from lightweight chrome sheet !! I think any good sheet metal shop/body shop would be able to make them. If you put the same back on seems the problem of them crumbling with age would still be there !! They were only a type of plastic and everyone I have talked to with this model has had a similar problem.
Did some looking around for the availability of these filler panels !! Ran across an old thread from this site. Several were looking for them a couple of years ago. Evidently the 73 and 74 panels were the same and fit both models. One person in the Netherlands bought them as did one in Spain and one here in the US and all fit properly. They bought them at www.replica-plastics.com !! The person in the Netherlands said it cost $350. for the set, front and back !! Not sure if his shipping cost was added to that or included !!
As far as I know it is still available. Are you interested ?? If so let me know and I will check on it !! Sorry to be late answering but my ISP has switched my email service carrier !! Notices are sometimes late !!
