1973 Olds Delta 88 Royale Convert, 73,xxx orig miles
1973 Olds Delta 88 Royale Convertible, Branson, MO $4,300
3 Owner, 73,xxx original documented miles, in storage since 1986, still has the 1986 CA "pink slip". Car spent first 4-5 years of her life in IA-NE.'
THE GOOD:
455, 4BBL. - runs great, very small oil leak at rear main.
T400 - shifts great, very small fluid leak at front seal.
Interior - great shape with some age yellowing on some of the plastic trim.
Floors and Trunk are solid, Chrome is driver quality, Frame has surface rust only, no rust through.
New Items: battery - tires - plug wires - muffler - tail pipe - vacuum hoses - master cylinder - brake booster - brake lines from proportioning valve back - rear wheel cylinders -front brake pads - rear wheel cylinders - rear brake shoes - rubber fuel lines - headlights - horns (good used) - horn relay. I've probably left something out but I do have reciepts for over a thousand dollars and 45-50 shop hours.
Engine compartment is unmolested, practically the same as the day it left the factory.
THE BAD:
Top - Usable but shot.
Paint - Needs paint, about a 20-25 footer, has superficial surface rust spots here and there but the real issue is around the drivers rear wheelwell.
Air - Needs a charge, clutch engages as it should.
This big old gal is a wonderful driving old classic and can be driven and enjoyed as is or given a cosmetic restoration with top and paint and you would have an awful lot of car for the money.
Anyway, if you are interested email
with "73 Olds" as header at msasgfa@yahoo.com for more pictures or to seal the deal.
Larry
P.S. I couldn't get pictures to uploads so please email for any pictures you would like. Thanks.
