1991 Olds 98 $1100
1991 Olds 98 $1100
I need funds to get my 70 cutlass going before my big wedding day, so I have to sell my daily driver.
1991 Olds 98 aka pops
Over 200,000 miles
runs great, like I said it is my daily driver.
Interior is in great condition.
Has rust, not a true florida car. (transplant from mich)
new rear tires
always maintained
needs cam position sensor (cmp)
I am in central florida
Asking $1100 or best offer

Are you advertising it anywhere else, such as on craigslist? It is a nice-looking car, but it's not, at least in my estimation, on the radar screens of most collector-car people, and those are the kinds of people who frequent this forum. The car is simply too new. Yes, there are people on here with post-1990 Oldsmobiles, but not many.
Given that it looks pretty good and apparently runs and drives just fine, it's more likely to appeal to a college student or someone who is looking for cheap transportation. That's why I'm thinking that you might have better luck advertising it where people looking for cheap used cars look, like craigslist, which costs nothing to advertise on. I would think this car would go pretty quickly if you posted it there.
Good, reliable transportation for about a grand is hard to come by these days, and your car appears to fit that bill.

I have not put if up for sale anywhere else simply for the fact of what you said. I dont want a college student to get this and just trash the car. I was really hoping to get someone who needed parts for their 98, since I think the interior of this car is in awesome condition.
But if I have to, I will resort to craigslist. Just thought I would try here first to see if anyone bites. Anyone remotely interested shoot me an offer, I am willing to sell cheap it to someone who needs it for parts or a daily driver.
