1973 Buick with 455-rocket

i have a 1973 bucik limited with a 455-rocket some wear around 34k org. miles dose run needs starter will sell in part or hole body is in good shape few rust spots on hood side in near mint shape dash and seats trunck needs new carpet spilled some oil and stuff in it and is nasty now will part out the car but engine must go as a hole if needed if interested let me know have pic per request

Wasn't the Buick 455 different than the Olds 455?

You could probably swap distributors

He said "Rocket" though..... it could be an Olds.

Either way, sounds like fun.

I don't even think the dist is interchangeable.I think the Buick spins CW and Olds is CCW? I think...

i live in nothern california do to the fact that it runs other then needing a stater and a spark plug wire and it has low miles looking to get what i can for it would have to say $5000.00 for the car or $3000.00 for the engine and drive train pulled! dose not cover shipping if willing to barter on this i do have pics if you would like to see some of the car let me know

No way!

I paid $300 for my Olds 455 and TH 400 and I got everything from the air cleaner housing to the oil pan. That Buick engine must be made of gold!

I agree, I think $3000 is a little steep. If you can get it fine, but I think you will still have it in a couple of years unless you sell the complete car or go down on the price of the engine/transmission.
