Price is decent all things considered. You 'could' call him and ask him to send some pics......

Car description says 72 cutlass conv. 442 trim so I would think thats what it is. No OAI either? Nice looking car though.

Yeah, but seeing as how I'm not ready to pull the trigger yet, my general practice is to not bother sellers when I'm just "window shopping."

No worries, I'm as curious as you about the extra pics but this car is not in my future either, no matter how much I wish it was.

I love it when people screw up their clones with a lack of attention to detail - it makes it easier to detect them. W30 stripes and badges, but no OAI hood - not even the base W29 hood with the fake vent inserts and pinstripes. Those look like later snap-on center cap SSIIIs too.

I'm definitely not an expert, and can say nothing about the correctness of the paint/stiped on this car. But in 72 wasn't 442 an appearance/handing option, with OAI hood a separate option?

A real W-30 (which this one is pretending to be with the side stripes and badges) would have been born with the OAI setup no matter what. Even a base '72 442 ragtop would have the steel hood with the metal vent inserts. This car has a base Cutlass hood, so it's either lousy attention to detail or not enough money to do a clone correctly. End result: awkward looking car that doesn't know what it's supposed to be.

A '72 can always be decoded by an "X" in the VIN for a W30.
Poorly done clones are one of my pet peeves also.
