442 with a 350 in it?

is it a clone or did u purposely put a smaller engine in it? just curious is all and maybe other people would like to know as well

 

In 1972, the 442 became just an appearance and suspension package, available on the S or Supreme with any engine. So it is possible to have a factory 442 with a 350 in that year.

If you ordered the W30 package, the 442 and 455 engine would have been included.

 

is that the first year they started doing that then? my range in 442 engines go from 68ish to 71ish it seems lol

 

Yes in '72 a 442 can be a 350 4-speed or auto. I know 'couse I got one
