1971 SX455 - 7000 original miles

Selling my super low mileage SX455. Car has been stored indoors all its life and used occasionally for pleasure and car shows. Car is unmolested and numbers matching. All documentation included, every piece of documentation is there including original plates.

Recent improvements:
New fuel tank and sending unit.
OEM fuel pump rebuilt.
New rubber fuel lines.
OEM carb rebuilt by Cliff Ruggles.
New G70/14 Polyglas Tires.
New water pump.
New valve cover gaskets.
New radiator and heater hoses with correct tower clamps.
OEM brake master cylinder and calipers rebuilt.
New wheel cylinders.
New rubber brake flex hoses.
Transmission has been serviced with new pan gasket.
Fresh oil and filter change.
Rear differential has been serviced with new cover gasket.
New Gardner full exhaust system.
NOS rear trumpet bumper. (Car was delivered with non cutout bumper by mistake documented by original owner)
All parts I have removed are retained and go with the car.

A/C will need attention, have rebuilt POA and expansion valve with R12 refrigerant that goes with the car. I never use the A/C and do not have the special tools to evacuate and pull a vacuum on the system.

Car is located in north Texas. I can be reached at 214-552-8983 in the evenings or weekends. Asking $65K OBO. Interesting trades considered.

Pretty impressive. A dealer would probably ask over $100K.

Great car, GLWS.

Hard to imagine many lower mileage performance oriented big block Oldsmobiles from 70 - 72 out there.
Amazing how options can add almost 50% to the total bottom line sticker price, that doesn’t happen anymore

She's gorgeous! Is this equipped with a 2.56 rear gear?

Thanks, the car is very nice. For sure feels like a highway gear, if the 2.56 ratio was correct for the SX then it’s equipped as original.

You might think about entering it our NTOC Zone Show in Glen Rose on October 4th with a For Sales sign on it. There are going to be lots of Olds folks there.

Car is sold, going to Ohio.

Anyone heading that direction with an enclosed that could help the new owner with transport?
