I ve been racking up the miles on the car....3000 miles........I removed the valve covers tonight to replace the gaskets......A small weep on each one...and hate to see any oil!!
If the car soon dont sell I will have the miles ran up...lol...But If I dont get my asking price I will just simply Enjoy!!!!!
Hope all is well with you!!

Yup, all's well up here. You going to take it to Olds in July if you still have it?

Hmmm, sleep on the plane?? No worries - it's all good. By the time you get to YEG, it will prolly be after 4pm anyway. Most of the cars start leaving around then.
If you want to go in on the engine blow, LMK and I'll put a few bucks in for ya.

It's a 50/50 when we take a 'donor' car (could be anything - one year a mazda MPV, a jetta, or a buick etc) and drain all the coolant and oil.
Start the car and let it run at normal idle till it craters. If it lasts 30 minutes (and so far every one has) then Ken Pilidis gets in the car and holds the gas down so the engine is about 1200 rpm until it craters. If it won't start right away, that's the time.
Usually someone will have a thermal scanner and checks the block temp....mostly out of morbid curiosity. If the car has a temp gage it would be pinned so no way to know what temp the block is. I bet if we did this at night you would see it glowing...
Sign up for $1 per time slot -- if the car craters at your time slot you win 50% of the take. Last year I came close. Didn't win but had a great time.
