It drives like it was new.

 

And once again this car is too close by for comfort.

Shoulda got something like this instead of that Grand Markee I bought a couple months ago.

 

If this is a double post, I plead ignorance.

My mechanic said that cars of this era came from the factory with the carburetor settings protected by caps on the carburetor adjustment screws. The original setting must have been somewhat lean at idle, causing the exhaust to stink. He said that when he worked at the dealer way back then, they would remove the caps and adjust the carb, curing the stink. When he looked at this car, he was amazed to find the carburetor with caps, sort of like finding a wooly mammoth, I guess.

Car also has protecto plate, signed warrantee, key codes, window sticker and a 1970 pamphlet in the glove box.

 

Still a nice car, best of selling it.
