yep sure is a shame but I bet when this was left there to begin with it was a totaled car worth 5k fixed up not 80k in today's market.

All kidding aside, these were just "cars" even up through early 90's.
As a kid in the 80's there were 4 junk yards in the area loaded, and i mean loaded with all sorts of muscle cars. Of course me and my friends took it all for granted that these would be here forever One such yard was near a military base and enlisted guys would drive there cars to the base and not want to deal with it and dropped the car off at the junk yard. Countless rust free nice cars in that yard.( 80 + acres). Recylcler co. bought it in the mid 90's then crushed everything and turned into a late model salvage yard

That's just sad.
$500 makes me want to just buy it and hang the fender on my wall as garage art. Black with red stripes?! Gotta be one of the coolest color combos.
