Changing priorities require that I sell the car intended as my next project. Photo link:

1970 442 Sports Coupe (post)
Roller - no engine or trans
Posi rearend believed to be original to the car
Built in Fremont, CA
Fisher Body code 00032. From an earlier thread here, this may be the first, or certainly one of the first, 442 Sports Coupes built for at the Fremont plant in the '70 model year
VIN # 3447707Z103737 - very early car
Paint Code 20 A Azure Blue with white vinyl top. Not the most "manly" of color combos but it's uniqueness really appealed to me
Interior Code 937 White bucket seats
Console with original, complete Hurst Dual Gate
PS, PB, no air, non ram air car
Interior is good. No cracks in dash pad, seats are complete and decent. Most of interior will need to be recovered/redone
All glass is present and good
Nice, correct grilles
New 3' exhaust system
Correct 70 only front fenders will need patches behind fromt tires, otherwise very good
Doors, quarters and roof are clean, straight and rust free
Car is currently in primer. Photos will show some verl light rust/scale but it wil all clen off easily
Floor pans and trunk pans are clean and rust free. Center section of trunk will need to be replaced as it shows signs of a fuel cell at some point
Underside of car is really nice as only dry, western cars can be
Parts I know are missing: Front bumper, radiator, driveshaft, there may be other things as well
Extra parts to be included in sale: new carpet underlayment, new carpet set (black), new (black) plastic inner fenders, complete set of window trim (used)
I have tried to trace the car's history without much success. I bought in in Oakland last spring. It may have been sold new in the San Diego area. It is pretty clear it spent it's entire life in California but that's about all I found
This car should be a relatively easy project as it really won't need that much body work
I am asking $4,500 or best offer. That is already less than I have in it but I need to move it on. The car is locatred in north central Wisconsin and will need to be picked up there. I have a good, clear Wisconsin titke. Please either email me or feel free to call at 210-216-6769 Thanks for looking
