1970 442 post 4speed project
Since I can't move my 68 my buddy is listing his new find. Big project but rare. Highlights are:
Non ac post coupe -- paint parchment bucket interior.
Nice doors, some rust behind rear tires. Trunk pan and decklid nice
Lowlights:
Motor and trans missing
Rust in front floor pans and trans hump behind the bucket seats.
Also in rear package tray and some in cowl.
Bucket seats missing.
71 455 and auto from big car non running.
$4750 for the car and the following parts:
1970 E headed 455 running (my motor and have video of it running) 4 core rad support,rust free cowl section, core bucket seats and console and 70 passenger fender ( has 71-2 vista fender now). I have pics on my phone. I will upload to photobucket tonight and ad to the thread. The car is just west of OKC in Yukon.

VIN#. . .. . .Don't know if car was originally a 3 or 4spd. . .. . .. . ..Hopefully some paperwork or documentation can be found in car somewhere. . .. . ...If a 3spd - 1 or 96 produced. . .. . .. . ..If 4spd - 1 of only 527. . .. . .. . .. . ..And its a special order Rallye Red paint ( -- paint code) 1970 only paint color. . .. . ...442 was white interior with buckets and console. . .. . .. . .has rust thru holes in floor pan , but trunk floor is in good shape - with only surface rust. . ..Has small rusted areas in lower rear quarters behind both wheels. . .. . .. . ... 3:08 12 bolt rearend and the boxed control arms and rear sway bar still intact. . .. . .. . .Original paint is still on the car - with the double 442 white stripes. . .. . .. . .Car has a 71 455 in it with a TH400 trans- now.. . .. . .. . .I have 442 grills / headlight buckets & surrounds / new front bumper / along with a windshield. . .. . .. . .. . .I also have a set of 70 455 'E' heads that go with the car , because the 71 engine in the car now has 1971 'G' heads on it. .. . . Also have another dash for the car - because this one is covered in peel/stick woodgrain vinyl. . .... .. I have an Oklahoma title for the car. . .. . ... .. . .
