1968 442 4speed numbers matching project car
1968 442 4speed numbers matching project car
I have a 1968 442 4 speed project car I would Consider selling.
Details:
12 b build date
V2 paint code
Tic Toc Tac and ralley pac
4 speed console
Black interior, buckets
Black Vinyl Top
No AC
Non Power disc brakes
Solid floors, and doors, Little rust on the Quarters
#s matching 400, c heads and #s matching Tranny
Original Air cleaner
Boxed rear control arms
sway bars
I bought this car as a Project, and am considering letting it go to buy more toys. It is a Lansing built car that I was drawn to because of the #s Matching drive train, options and color combination, plus I am a Sucker for 4 speed cars. When I bought the car, Someone had began to peice together a 1969 442 front clip for it. I have the 68 fenders, but no hood or radiator support, The original 68 fenders were pretty mangled. The motor and tranny seem really clean and appear to have never been taken apart. The Motor has julian date codes of 303 on the heads, block, and intake, The Carb appears to be a 1969 Pontiac 400 428 455 Unit. I have not checked the distributor. The tranny is an M20 Muncie and also has the right date codes, along with the case being stamped with the partial vin. The rear is a TA code open rear, which I beleive is not Original.
Again, the floors and frame and doors are real nice on this car, with a little rust on rear quarters, but not bad.
I have 5000 invested in this car and am looking to get out as much as I can, But am Open to offers. It would be better to call, because I am working away from home, so my internet access is limited. I will post pictures in a week or so.
Please Call me with further interest or Questions. Nick 720-275-3124
