Bought this car from a local gentleman a little over a month ago.. Drove it to a show this past weekend. Another dream car I want came up for sale so I am selling this one.
1970 442 Convertible. Real original 442.
Car cranks right up, doesn't smoke and runs and drives good. Radiator has a very minor leak.
350ci Olds w/ column shift auto. No idea what happened to the original 455.
Has PS, PB, PW, AC, power top and tilt wheel.
Interior mostly original with some normal issues (seats tears, carpet faded, etc)
Painted about 25 years ago per previous owner. Has some issues. Paint peeling in a couple of places (low down in front of driver quarter, one quarter size on top of pass fender, small area on cowl vent, also imperfections on panel between convert top and trunk).
There are a few small bubbles low down in front of rear wheels and one door lower corner.
Car underside, floors and trunk is SOLID. No rust.
Car looks excellent from 20ft away but has some issues due to age.
If you want a driver to restore, or just drive like it is at a fairly low entry level 442 convert price, this may be the car.
