If I only had 20 acres in the country with a HUGE barn....

Not mine but described as low miles with a nice interior. Anyone else interested???

Hey John, with my new name I'm blue too.

My dream is 20 acres and a huge garage with an attached house sitting on it.

Funny how he recommends that engine for a GTO or firebird, wrong 455.

This 98 convertible is for sale on CL here that a couple of us have posted. It's still for sale and I do have his phone number. Fancy suburb too, surprising to see a car like that for sale there. Would that car be worth buying to sell parts off of? I could probably have it sitting in my drive in a day. My wife is very tolerant but may be a problem and our new non-op ordinance too. I could cover it and say it's a funny shaped storage shed or leave a board sticking out and say it's a lumber pile.

I bet that is a great project. Too bad it is in Redding, CA. If it was in Oklahoma City I would at least go look at it.

Bluevista, I noticed that you changed your user name. How did you do that?

Bluevista, nice name! Yes it sounds like he doesn't know much about Oldsmobiles and the interchange of BOP engines. I cringe at the thought of demo derby for a car this nice.

If that convertible were close to me I'd figure out a way to get it home! The pictures look good, is it rusty? If it were not good enough to save yes I think there's a lot of valueble parts there. It looks like a tilt tele column similar to the ones used in 1966 Toros. If the chrome is good there are many parts of the country where its been corroded away, and the convertible top frame and parts can't be a common item this day and age. Either to restore or parts it looks like treasure to me! Put a reeeeeally big tarp over it and say it's a boat John
